Have you set your New Years Resolutions? Better yet- are you sticking to your resolutions? Most resolutions include:
- Eating “healthier”
- Exercising more
- Losing weight
According to studies- only around 8% of people actually fulfill their New Years Resolutions.8%?!?! Why do you think that is? There are many reasons, including: many of the resolutions are so far from reality that the gap is too large to overcome, they are not specific enough, or that you haven’t made the necessary mental changes in order to envision what your goals are.

If your New Years resolution is health related, ask yourself these questions to get some clarity:
What specifically is my goal?
More energy? More mental clarity? Better sleep? Improved Longevity? Balanced blood sugar? Be as specific as you can be! (“Healthier” wont cut it). The more specific you are, the more your brain seeks out to find this new You!
What are your steps to get to your goal?
This is an important step that most miss. Set aside small habits daily that set yourself up for success. Maybe it’s waking up 15 minutes earlier, or scheduling time to cook dinner, or setting a budget to spend at the grocery store.
Track your progress!
Have something in your house visible that can tell you where you are at along your path- the visual will help remind you and keep you focused.
Change your mindset!
Think in the future, if you actually had what you are seeking (more energy, better sleep, etc)-how would that person act? Would they be more joyous? More relaxed? More focused? BE that right now! When you start acting as if you already have it- your brain will seek ways to make sure you get it.
