Meet the Doctor: Dr. Seth Gerlach
Dr. Seth Gerlach is originally from Cape Girardeau, MO. He grew up in a great family and loved the small-town feel. At the age of 13, Dr. Gerlach began having terrible back pain that would keep him from playing sports. At age 15, he developed debilitating migraine headaches. Then at age 17, he developed vertigo, a sensation that makes someone extremely dizzy.
After all of this, he was hit with a wave of abdominal pains and depression. Dr. Gerlach sought help from dozens of doctors and ended up on a handful of medication while still in high school. He was frustrated with the path he was on and knew that there had to be a better way. After visiting a chiropractor and seeing results, he decided that a future in the health field would interest him.
Chasing His Dream
After meeting his beautiful wife in college, she convinced him to follow his dream and to become a doctor. After going through chiropractic school and seeing patients first hand, Dr. Gerlach grew to love functional medicine - a way of building the body back to its healthy state. He put his body and life back together with this method and now wants to share his story with everyone he meets!
Family Life
Dr. Gerlach lives in St. Louis with his wife, Tori, and their bulldog, Lou Lou. In his spare time, he loves hiking, skiing, boating, being outdoors, and playing with his nephews.
